As a Senior Proposals Engineer, you will spearhead the development and implementation of sophisticated assembly, automation, and tooling solutions specifically tailored for electrification production projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring efficiency, precision, and reliability in the manufacturing processes within the automotive electrification realm.

Due to an extended period of exponential growth, we are looking for a Senior Proposals Engineer to join our team and take leadership of significant projects for the business.

About The Senior Proposals Engineer Role

You will be responsible developing overseeing design process on major projects and contributing mechanically to design work across the business.

The Senior Proposals Engineer will be responsible for:

• Create technical proposals across various sectors, aiding the Commercial Lead in collaborating with stakeholders.
• Analyss customer RFQs to determine technical solutions.
• Conduct customer visits.
• Manage costing and quotation activities, ensuring timely and detailed proposal deliverables.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet technical standards and align with customer needs.
• Lead or support handover meetings upon receiving customer orders.
• Support project teams post-handover during the delivery phase.
• Deliver presentations to customers and internally, showcasing technical solutions using CAD tools and other relevant media.

A successful Senior Proposals Engineer will need:

• 5+ years' experience in proposals role around equipment or machinery development.

• Office Based, but Willing to travel as required for customer visits
• Detailed commercial awareness and understanding of commercial practices
• Detailed Technical understanding of engineering practices and cross-sector knowledge transfer
