The Opportunity

The successful candidate will provide a friendly, organised, and efficient administration and reception service to the main reception office for our site in Burneside, Kendal.

You will be responsible for;

Handling incoming and outgoing calls, answering enquiries, and transferring calls to appropriate staff members.

Greeting visitors ensuring they feel welcome and directing them to the appropriate meeting rooms or personnel and ensuring they have correct PPE.

Maintaining an organised filing system for documents, invoices, and other administrative records.

Assist in scheduling and organizing meetings including booking venues and coordinating with attendees.

Managing office supplies and stationery, ensuring stock levels are maintained and ordering new supplies when needed.

Assisting with processing incoming and outgoing mail, as well as distributing mail throughout the office.


What will make you successful?

You will bring excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
