If so, we here at West Berkshire Mencap are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Support Workers. Our amazing team love to take our clients out in the community for enjoyable outings, this might be for a birthday treat, cinema or to an amusement park. We currently have vacancies that can flex around your lifestyle, full-time, part-time or bank, and welcome applications from job seekers who are eager, flexible, conscientious and have a positive outlook towards supporting people with learning disabilities.
We proudly support 18 incredible adults with learning disabilities across three houses in the centre of Newbury. Each of our clients has their own private self-contained flat. They take part in creative group activities in the communal lounge, kitchen and grounds. Our dedicated staff provide 24-hour support helping our clients get ready for the day, go shopping, make lunches/tea, and get ready for bed, all to ensure our clients can make the most of their lives and most of all, have fun.
