Head of Compliance & Building Safety for a leading provider of affordable housing, high rise apartments and care homes. It is a permanent role, covering residential schemes across Greater Manchester including both refurbishments and new build. Excellent company benefits and an agile working policy.
Job Description
- Housing, high rise apartments and care homes
- Strategic lead for Health and Safety
- Overseeing of the Building Safety team
- Line management of managers across Building Safety, Compliance and H&S
- Fire safety management and fire risk assessments
- Asbestos and legionella
- Policies and procedures
- CDM
- Audits
- Certifications
- Landlord compliance
The Successful Applicant
- Relevant safety and compliance experience
- Relevant safety or compliance qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, P405 Asbestos, P901 Legionella
- Thorough understanding of Fire Safety and Building Safety
- Currently or previously operating in residential safety
- Understanding of the social housing sector
