The Role

Position: SEN Recruitment Consultant
Location: Plymouth Office, Full-time
Salary: £25,038.30 - £30,038.30
Contract Type: Permanent with a 12-week probation period

As a Recruitment Consultant at Teaching Personnel Plymouth, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment and development of staff for special educational needs (SEN) schools in the region. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and vetting quality candidates, matching them with suitable roles, and providing ongoing support to schools and educators throughout the recruitment process.

You are not required to have experience in this sector, so long as you bring your energy and willingness to learn to the table. You will join a thriving team covering a specialist sector of special educational needs and will support an experienced team of recruiters and have the opportunity for career development and progression - will be right there, supporting and cheering you on.

What will you be doing?
- Delight your customers through strong relationship building and delivery of best quality administrative support to teachers and teaching assistants
- Proactively communicate with branches and candidates regarding vetting and registration
- Create and publish job adverts and interviewing alongside experienced Recruitment Consultants
- Be a data input and data management wizard

A Day in the Life:

Your typical day as a Recruitment Consultant will be dynamic and fast-paced. From conducting educator interviews to liaising with schools in school service reviews and collaborating with colleagues, each day presents new challenges and opportunities to make a difference. Our shifts range from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with adjusted hours during the summer holidays to ensure work-life balance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
