The Production Supervisor directs activities within the operations team as it relates to production, inventory management, and quality. This highly motivated individual will ensure efficient production while promoting and working safely within established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of CNC machining
Statistical control of the process – Precision instrument reading
Management of KPIs (utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap, rework).
Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools – Focusing on 6S Program
Optimize work processes – find ways to simplify, standardize and automate
Build functional relationships to bring together ideas, data, and insights to drive continuous improvement in functions
Basic to advanced knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic operations and troubleshooting
Governance of production routings, raw material structure, and process specific operational drawings
Preventive maintenance program investment (PM)
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Preferred Experience / Skills:
BS or BA Degree in a relevant field
Experience with ISO variances
Related manufacturing experience, as well as some related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience with collaborative problem solving with a continuous improvement mentality
