Science Teacher / Science ECT - September 2024

A popular secondary school in Greenwich, southeast London, is searching for a Science Teacher / Science ECT to join their team in September 2024.

As a growing department, there is scope for an experienced Science Teacher to take on a TLR, as well as full support available for a Science ECT in the infancy of their teaching career.

The Director of Science is keen to find someone with energy and passion for the subject, who can continue to grow interest in Science to follow their trend of growing uptake of students continuing to study Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A Level.

The Director of Science is a highly experienced Science Teacher with years of experience under their belt, including ECT mentoring. You will be joining a strong team in a well-established school with a functional behaviour policy, alleviated marking pressures and solid wellbeing initiatives in place.

• ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke NQT induction, In & out of house training and more

• MPS1 - UPS3 - £36,745 - £56,959

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• Reflective practitioner keen to grow
