Job Description
- Oversee financial operations within the Accounting & Finance department.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Collaborate with external auditors to support annual audits.
- Work with department heads to develop financial plans and budgets.
- Perform ad hoc financial projects as required.
- Report directly to the Financial Controller, providing strategic recommendations based on financial data.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in a similar role within different manufacturing industries
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US and UK GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
