Job description

A Female Personal Care Assistant is required for 6 hours per week to support a disabled young lady with social and leisure activities and accessing the local community.
The times/days to be agreed with the client.

Duties: To take the client out in the community to participate in social/leisure activities and tend to personal care needs.

Rate of Pay: £11.15 per hour. 

Place of Work: Service Users Home/Community Support 

General: 
The client has low muscle tone, scoliosis, global processing delay and visual impairment and need the Personal Care Assistant to have some experience in this field to be able to offer appropriate support.

A full driving license, valid to drive in the UK and use of a car would be necessary for this role. 

This vacancy is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, paid for by the employer. 

Experience:
• Possess a Health and Social Care qualification
• Experience of working in a care setting
• Experience of providing 1-1 care
• Good communication skills
• Experience and understanding of providing person centered care
