Role: Senior/Principal Planning Officer

Location: Greater Manchester, Office/site visits once per fortnight

Pay: Inside IR35 - £35-50 Dependent on experience

Contract: 3 months ongoing, immediate start

Spencer Clarke Group are currently seeking an experienced and degree-qualified Senior/Principal Planning Officer (Development Management) on behalf of our client, a Local Authority in Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a mix of new and existing minor and householder applications.
• Efficiently clear high volumes of cases.

Requirements

• Degree qualified with relevant planning qualifications.
• Proven experience at a Senior/Principal level within a Local Planning Authority.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage and clear high volumes of planning cases.
• Familiarity with minor and householder applications.
