Job description
Step Teachers are looking for a passionate and engaging teacher to support a Year 2 class. This is a long-term role starting in February 2024, this will be ongoing for the right teacher.
This is a two-form entry school rated 'Good' by Ofsted. The school prides itself on providing a great work/life balance for its teachers through various routes of support/techniques.
Role:
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum in primary school
Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
Work effectively with other staff both within the classroom and throughout the school
Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
Able to deliver lessons which are both engaging and dynamic.
Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Requirements:
Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching KS1 primary
Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
