Are you a dynamic Economics Teacher who is looking for their next opportunity for the next academic year?
Ribbons and Reeves are working with a high-achieving Secondary School and Sixth Form located in Dagenham who are looking for a committed Head of Economics to lead their collaborative department in September.
Head of Economics | Job Summary: - Preparing and assessing teaching sessions whilst maintaining an awareness of curriculum developments
- Build relationships with all young people to encourage their interest and participation in their education
- Creating an environment which is stimulating and purposeful of all pupils to promote teaching and learning outside the formal classroom settings
- Be a well-motivated practitioner, keen to show their enthusiasm for Economics
- Permanent role starting in September 2024
- MPS/UPS Inner London and negotiable TLR
Head of Economics | Key Skills Required: - Minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree in Economics from a Top UK University
- QTS gained through PGCE/Teach First/SCITT
- Have a proven background of teaching Economics up to KS5, delivering teaching at a good or outstanding level
- Knowledge of current education issues in relation to terms of practice, process, and curriculum
Working as their newest Head of Economics, you will deliver fun educational based learning which is tailored to each pupils needs to ensure they will achieve positive results.
Economics is a thriving subject at this school and is very popular amongst students in KS4 with strong progression through to an A-Level course.
