Job description
PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to work with our Client in the Northwest. Our client is a UK building main contractor involved in a range of sectors in the Northwest.
The Site Manager will be number two on an Educational Project reporting to a Senior Site Manager.
The projects the Site Manager will be working on is an Educational project with a value of £8m. Further Projects will be for the Northwest region.
Site Manager Responsibilities
Help Lead and manage on-site construction activities, including coordination of subcontractors, site personnel, and resources.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications.
Implement effective site management strategies to optimize productivity and mitigate risks.
Monitor progress against project milestones and report on key performance indicators.
Oversee quality control procedures to uphold the highest standards of workmanship and craftsmanship.
Proactively identify potential issues and implement timely solutions to keep the project on track.
Site Manager Requirements:
Extensive experience as a Site Manager within the Construction Industry, ideally with a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects, particularly within the education sector.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid).
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering excellence.
Experience working on Educational Projects up to £8m.
£55,000, Plus Car Allowance and Additions Benefits
