Job description
psd group has exclusively partnered with a high-growth e-commerce/wholesaler business based in Lancashire who are looking for a new Finance Director. In line with the exciting new changes to the board, this newly created role will play an important role in shaping the financial growth of the group and ensuring the financial health of the organisation. Whilst being mentored by a high-calibre CFO, you will be supporting on strategies, overseeing the full finance and accounting operations for the group.
The role will include: Working with the senior leadership team to assist in the growth of the businesses, formulating strategies and plans Leading, managing and developing the finance team, allowing them to continue to develop their skills and knowledge Managing the budgeting & forecasting process, including formulation of annual budgets, short-term forecasts and long-term financial plans Leading on and managing the production monthly group management accounts, flash reports and management of cash flow projections Management of FX including forecasting requirements and development of risk mitigation strategies Support the CFO with company secretarial responsibilities, such as filing confirmation statements and accounts for dormant subsidiaries Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders such as bankers, lawyers, and insurance brokers. Leading on meetings and co-ordinating renewals where appropriate Leading on and managing the statutory audit and liaising with auditors regarding the statutory accounts and tax computations Supporting on-going ad hoc projects Package: between £85,000 to £100,000 + bonus + benefits You will be a fully qualified accountant and have had experience working within an organisation that has been on a growth journey. Having worked in an e-commerce, wholesale. FMCG or logistics business would be very beneficial but not essential. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre and ambitious first time Finance Director to be mentored under an excellent CFO.
