- Developing and implementing strategic financial plans.
- Leading and managing a dedicated accounting and finance team.
- Overseeing all financial operations including budgeting and forecasting.
- Preparing comprehensive financial reports for senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Contributing to the overall management and strategic direction of the organisation.
- Engaging with stakeholders and providing financial advice as required.
- Identifying areas for cost reduction and financial improvement.
Profile
A successful Head of Finance should have:
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in a finance team leader role.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and statutory law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability in strategic planning and financial analysis.
