Role and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud solutions and Entra ID. This role requires expertise in Entra ID, Azure cloud services,virtual infrastructure and networking concepts, as well as a strong understanding of Active Directory Domain Services and its integration with Azure services enabling Single Sign On.

• Maintaining and enhancing Entra ID practices.
• Implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud solutions and infrastructure.
• Providing guidance on network security, Azure Policies, Azure Monitor, Azure Backup and Azure security and governance mechanisms.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to recognize challenges and offer solutions.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS)
• Implementing Azure Backup and backup Policies.
• Azure networking concepts with zero-trust implementations.
• Good documentation skills using Visio, Word and Powerpoint.
• IaC utilising Terraform and GitHub.

Key Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior Azure Engineer or similar role.
• Expertise in Entra ID, Azure cloud services, infrastructure, and architecture.
• Strong understanding of network security and Azure governance mechanisms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Self Starter with the ability to disseminate skills to other team members.
• Experience developing an Infrastructure as Code practice.

As part of our onboarding processes, all successful candidates will need to complete both a Pre-Employment Screening process and a Fit & Proper check by the Gambling Commission. These checks include a DBS (an enhanced check, which shows convictions and conditional cautions), credit and social media checks. As part of our application process, you will be asked to identify in advance if you have spent or unspent convictions that we need to be aware of.

Should you not disclose convictions at the application stage, not pass the Fit & Proper Check process or not complete your Pre-Employment Screening then unfortunately you may not pass our probation process.
