We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work a 4 On 4 Off shift pattern- Both electrical and mechanical engineers considered. If you have no electrical certifications then a basic understanding electrically would be required – changing like for like parts – sensors, motors, relays for example.

Do you want to earn a base salary of up to £48000 per annum + overtime with earnings of £55000 and upwards achievable?

The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Both electrical and mechanical considered)

Location: Wolverhampton

Overtime rates: 1.5 Mon-Sat and double on Sundays

Pay: Up to £48000 DOE

Shift:  4 on 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights from 06:45am to 7pm or 18:45pm to 7am - 12.25 hours

Overview:

Working for a large manufacturing business that have sites across the UK and Europe we now require a maintenance engineer to join the team.

You will be working within first class modern manufacturing facilities with the latest in maintenance equipment and machinery in a automated production environment.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.

• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns

• PPM’s

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time served apprenticeship

Strong Maintenance background, working within automated manufacturing/production environment or similar

Electrical certifications beneficial.

Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc.

Commutable from: Wolverhampton, Walsall, Cannock and surrounding areas.
