Location: Walsall, Wolverhampton and Dudley 

Daily Rate: £125 – £210 per day

Role to start immediatelywith a view to become permanent.

About You: You are a qualified, experienced Primary teacher, confident in working with children with SEN and behavioural issues

Primary Teacher Job Description:

Within this Primary Teacher role, you will be responsible for teaching pupils that are PEX.  This is an exciting Primary School Teacher vacancy who wants to be part of a small team and contribute to the positive ethos of the site.  Your compassionate nature, patience, and dedication will help create a supportive learning environment where the pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:

Teaching; maths, English, PHRE, science, reading and nurture.

Mark books, attend meetings and be an influential part of academy life.

Implementing strategies and interventions to support the student’s individual needs and address any behavioural difficulties they may encounter.

Collaborating with the SENCO, and other support staff to develop and implement personalised learning plans and accommodations.

Encouraging independence and self-confidence in the students while fostering positive relationships and a sense of belonging within the school community.

Celebrating achievements and progress, no matter how small, to motivate and inspire the student to reach their goals.

Primary School Teacher Requirements:

Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

Strong subject knowledge of the desirable subjects.

Experience working with children with SEND and or behavioural needs is desirable but not essential – we welcome candidates with a genuine passion for making a difference.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students, staff, and parents/carers.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, with a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the student and the school environment.

A willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEND and behaviour needs.
