An excellent new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Band 6 Clinical Pharmacist to work in an exceptional independent private hospital next to Central London.

*To be considered for this position you must hold a professional registration as a Pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council GPC

As the Clinical Pharmacist your key responsibilities include: - Visit allocated wards and review inpatient prescription charts, checking for clinical correctness according to current practice.
- Ordering non stock medicines for individual patients and ensuring continuity of supply
- Clinically screen and final check in-patient and discharge TTO prescriptions according to current practice
- Resolve any prescription queries with the prescriber and amend prescription accordingly
- Participate in dispensary dutie s (e.g. prescription processing) and ensuring appropriate records (e.g. controlled drug registers are maintained)
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: - Has provided medication counselling to patients
- Multidisciplinary working with Nursing and/or Medical colleagues
- Analysis and application of clinical data
- Completion of one year Pre-registration training
The successful Clinical Pharmacist will receive an excellent salary up to £45,847.55 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week.
