Job description
Due to business growth, our Manchester team is looking to add an experienced Risk Manager to the group. Candidates for this role must have invoice finance experience gained in Risk or as a minimum in an operational role.
Requirements
Attending monthly Portfolio Risk Management reviews with Risk Manager, Relationship Managers & Assistance Relationship Managers
Monitoring Statistics, financial changes, ownership changes of clients
Dealing with collect out clients including credit control of ledgers and updating Risk Manager & Head of Risk on emerging issues
Providing updates to Insolvency Practitioners on collect out clients
Compliance
Monitoring Risk Factor follow ups and Payment Authorities and requesting outstanding information
Monitoring the Risk Mailbox and categorising follow ups for the Risk manager & Head of Risk
Providing cover for the Credit Manager to include completing the daily monitoring and any associated actions along with monthly reporting
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in using risk management software and tools
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
