Job description

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our vibrant school community. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for promoting physical fitness, well-being, and a healthy lifestyle among students. The PE Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and challenging physical education lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and inspiring students to develop a lifelong love for physical activity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality physical education lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular sports activities, events, and competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subjects and promote a holistic approach to education.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in physical education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience as a PE Teacher, with a track record of delivering successful and engaging lessons.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for physical education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
