Job description
Our client is a rapidly growing firm with offices throughout the UK. Their Northern practice seeks a VAT specialist to be based in Leeds, York, Manchester or Stockport. They will consider a range of levels from experienced senior through to experienced manager. Most importantly you will need proven UK VAT experience - whether this is gained in HMRC, industry or practice. In this role:
You will need to support all levels of team members with their technical research, reviewing their work and ensuring clients are managed not only efficiently but effectively with proactive ad reactive advice. You will also be managing a portfolio of more complex clients, through investigations and beyond, to provide peace of mind and technical support when they need it most. You will be encouraged to network with wider VAT teams within the business to ensure you are working on a National level to service clients and keep technical expertise current.
As part of the management team, your journey will continue via mentorship by the senior management team in both your local office and wider network to provide soft skills development such as more effective client management and staff management. Personal coaching will continue as your journey continues beyond formal qualifications which can be tailored to your own individual aspirations.
