Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse seeking a leadership position in a Clinical Research project in Newcastle?

We are delighted to offer an exceptional opportunity to a committed Band 5/6+ Nurse at GP World. This unique role is for a Nurse Delivery Lead in Newcastle, featuring immediate full-time shifts. This position is available as a 6-month locum starting from April 2024.

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the day-to-day delivery of excellence in quality care, ensuring the fulfillment of all clinical governance and compliance targets. Your proficiency in Phlebotomy will be an asset as you actively contribute to a meaningful clinical research project focused on long-term conditions, aiming to make a lasting impact on healthcare outcomes.

Requirements

• NMC Registration
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant experience as Lead Nurse
• Responsible for the provision of clinical leadership
• Responsible for staff attendance and scheduling
• First point of escalation for operational queries

Desired skills encompass independence, effective decision making, strong communication abilities (including delivering difficult news), efficient time management, and knowledge of risk management, job planning, and appraisal review processes.
