Job description

Driver Hire are recruiting a Cleaner for one of our clients based in the city centre. Please note due to the nature of this work a driving licence is essential, company vehicle will be provided. This is a full time position with the potential to become permanent after a successful probation period. Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for planned and ad-hoc cleaning jobs within various properties around the city.

39 hour week –  Mon – Fri – 8am – 4.30pm 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning residential properties to a high level of cleanliness
• Back pack vacuums are used, so applicants will need to be reasonably physically fit.
• All cleaning products and PPE will be provided
• There will be occasional interaction with customers so a pleasant and friendly attitude is essential.

Duties may also include but are not restricted to:
Cleaning communal areas and maintaining communal open space areas reporting
repairs, removing items or fly tipped items including removal of hypodermic needles and
dog fouling (using safe systems of work and risk assessments) from the general vicinity
of buildings, deep clean communal carpets, cleaning of gutters from ground level with
gutter vacuum system, void house cleans and void clearances report graffiti, complaints
or issues of anti-social behaviour to appropriate staff.

CANDIDATE  PROFILE:

• Car licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Some cleaning Experience preferred
• Ability to work as a team
