Job description


We are currently seeking a talented Security Cleared Service Desk Analyst to join our client's dynamic and inclusive team! As a leading employment agency, we take pride in connecting exceptional professionals with exciting job opportunities.

As a Service Desk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting and resolving 1st line technical issues for our client's esteemed organisation. Your dedication to exceptional customer service, strong problem-solving skills, and technical expertise will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations and maximising end-user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing efficient and professional 1st line support, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues via phone, email, and remote support tools.
Logging, tracking, and escalating incidents as required, ensuring accurate and timely resolution.
Collaborating with fellow team members to share knowledge and provide a seamless support experience to end-users.
Assisting with documentation and maintaining up-to-date knowledge base articles.
Conducting root cause analysis and identifying trends to improve service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar Service Desk Analyst role, delivering exceptional customer service and support.
Solid understanding of ITIL best practises and experience working within an ITIL environment.
Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of hardware and software systems, including Microsoft operating systems, Office 365, and Active Directory.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
Active security clearance is essential for this position.

This is a temporary position with an initial contract length of 3 months, offering a competitive daily rate of £140 (inside IR35 via umbrella)
