Learning Support Officer
37 hours per week – Term Time Only plus 1 week
Starting immediately
Required to work to 6.00pm on a rota basis within our Achievement Centre study area
The Altus Education Partnership was formed in 2017 by the governing body of Rochdale Sixth Form College, an Ofsted outstanding college, currently with around 1900 students. The College opened in 2010 and since then it has raised achievement in the area dramatically, regularly being one of the highest performing colleges in the country.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and passionate Learning Support Officer , who is keen to continuously improve the classroom experience of our students. RSFC has an excellent reputation, and this is a real opportunity for you to make your mark. Clearly, working at RSFC will be demanding. However, as a colleague you will be of great value and importance and in return it is our intention to provide staff with excellent support and the resources to carry out a first class job.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
· To implement agreed learning support with individuals/groups and support teaching staff in the learning and development of students.
· To provide detailed and specialist skills/knowledge within the field of SEN (special educational needs)/ALN (additional learning needs).
