Role: NOC Engineer

Location: Wembley Park/Hybrid 2-3 days in the office

Package: £30,000 – £45,000 Bupa Health, Enhanced Pension, Gym membership, 26 days holidays plus more.

1 in 6 weeks on call (£50 Per Day)

Opportunity:

This opportunity will see you joining a thriving and leading network provider. We currently provide WiFi connectivity solutions across MDU’s such universities, student accommodations, businesses and multi-story apartment buildings.

The team is looking to expand and we’re looking for a savvy network operations engineer with a passion for innovation and what’s next with emerging technologies. Coming into the role will give you the opportunity by way of progression, the company want to bring in engineers who can focus on both reactive and proactive network operations and that mindset to keep evolving and learning.

Day to day, you’ll sit on the team that deals with escalation for network infrastructure issues, so it’s a 2nd line role to include both wired and wireless networks, alongside working on escalations for all core network and complex service issues. We won’t rule out a strong 1st line.

You will be the heart and soul of maintaining the network. The key to success in the day to day operations is the ability to work with and communicate with the installation and customer service teams. This will improve the experience from the customer’s side relating to managing all the network issues, connectivity and overall network availability.

Plenty of interaction, both internally and externally with provisioning, core network teams, field engineers and then carriers & vendors outside of the business.

This is a normal Monday to Friday business hours week, so no shifts and then the opportunity to join the on-call rota one week in 6.

What we are looking for

– CCNA Qualified (Or equivalent experience)

– Understanding and practical experience of networking principles, routing & switching protocols / setups with a good grasp of ISP networking fundamentals

– NOC experience is preferred or experience from a network focused serviced desk
