Job description
We are looking for an experienced Independent reviewing officer at Middlesbrough Council.
The Conferencing Service is a valued and embedded service, which works collaboratively with key partners, children, and families. We are looking for a Child Protection Chair to chair Child Protection Conferences, according to statutory requirements.
You will chair Child Protection Conferences, leading decision making and developing Child Protection Plans with the childs voice clear. You will monitor the progress of Child Protection Plans bi-monthly between conferences, ensuring quality assurance oversight and challenging any shortfalls in practice or resources.
Qualifications:
*Qualification in Social Work
*Registered with Social Work England.
