Job description
This “outstanding” rated nursery is seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Room Leader to join their friendly and dedicated team. The setting is close to Notting Hill and offers a range of indoor and outdoor activities for the children including yoga, growing plants and veggies, cooking with Chef and much more.
It’s well located, with tube stations and bus routes in easy walking distance, and lots of park close by, where the children can get out and about in the community and start to discover nature, wildlife and the environment.
As a Nursery Room Leader you will be understanding and compassionate with both children and their parents. Working with a range of staff, you will be free to implement new ideas and work so that each outcome has a benefit to the nursery and especially the children attending.

Responsibilities: - Foster a love of learning and creativity through play-based experiences
- Work closely with parents and care givers to ensure the children enjoy a rich and rewarding environment in the room
- Lead and supervise colleagues and children in your room
- Fully understanding and implement nursery policy and procedures
- Ensure the safety, health, and hygiene of the children
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Minimum of a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent (e.g., CACHE, NNEB)
- Able to mentor and develop room staff to their full potential
- Strong leadership and team management skills and previous experienced leading a team in a nursery setting
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues with an approachable manner
