Here's what our OT's have to say:
"Some jobs can become a little monotonous over time, but I have never felt that as a Social Care OT! The job has always been very interesting with a respectful team and opportunities to progress. The pace of work changes as well as the types of assessment. I have been here over 5 years and have no plans to move on. I find ECC social care a progressive organisation which moves with new ethos and technology."
"I love the diversity of the role - every case is different, from the adults we work with, to the environments and the unique challenges that adults are experiencing. I enjoy problem solving and working together with the adults, families and different professionals, promoting a holistic approach for the best possible outcomes for our adults. The Occupational Therapists in the South OT hub are supportive and encouraging, and there are frequent opportunities for CPD in lots of different areas, from manual handling and equipment to mental capacity assessments. I am constantly learning and developing my knowledge and skills as an Occupational Therapist - I really enjoy my job!"
