A reputable Milnthorpe-based company is currently seeking to hire an Accounts Assistant for a permanent position.

As a key member of the team reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant will be actively involved in various daily tasks, including:

• Coding Purchase Invoices
• Credit Control
• Maintaining ledgers to ensure the Sales and Purchase Ledgers are current
• Initiating Monthly Runs and processing payments for Inter Company Accounts
• Conducting stock counts
• Managing Petty Cash
• Handling Daily Banking activities

The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant position should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and ideally be pursuing their AAT qualification (study support will be provided after a qualifying period).
