Continuous Improvement Specialist
KeyMed (Medical & Industrial Equipment) Ltd. (OKM) | Corporate | 9-month fixed term contract
*Please be aware - this is a temporary contract, initially for 9 months to support us during a period of additional workload*
Your responsibilities
The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for actively leading and developing continuous improvement activities and strategies to processes and procedures for the QMS (across all divisions within the business) under ISO 13485, ISO 9001, MD SAP and MDR 2017/745. In this role, your key responsibilities will include: - Utilising quality processes and systems such as CAPA, non-conformance reporting, complaint handling, concessions to identify and lead working groups to implement improvements projects within the QMS
- Perform quality system compliance activities in support of the company’s improvement programme
- Provide advice to process owners and key stakeholders to support them and ensure procedures, processes, practices and controls are properly developed, implemented and maintained
- Evaluate external audit results across all operational areas, assess and determine results from audits to evaluate adjustments or improvements within the various QMS project improvements
- Oversight and follow-up non-conformance reports (both Vendor and Internal) where appropriate to identify trends and resolve underlying issues within the business
- Certificate within Project Management or equivalent is desirable
- Strong experience within Regulatory Affairs, Quality or R&D in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or technical compliance activities
- Implement processes / procedures with a “simplicity” viewpoint, understand the competencies and experience of all stakeholders
- Advanced techniques and knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel
