Job description

PSR Solutions are working with a Tier 1 contractor who are looking to employ an experienced Senior Site Engineer on a permanent, salaried basis.

As a Senior Engineer, you would report into a Contracts Manager. It is important to note that the contractor is not simply seeking a setting out engineer, but someone who can be involved in the duration of the programme process.

Role and duties:

· Quality Assurance

· ITP's (inspection & test plan)

· Setting out

· Supervision of trades/ delivery teams

· Planning work packs and method statement/risk assessments for all work involved

· Chairing meetings, managing sub-contractors.

· Chairing stakeholder reviews. Mentoring team and ensuring training is kept up to date

· Attending planning and workshop

· Driving programme at a site level.

· Quantifying material and ordering through the procurement system

· Keeping accurate QA records or site progress.

· Reporting to weekly progress to Construction Manager and planning team.

· Working with the commercial team to build the scheme within budget

Experience/Qualifications:

· SMSTS

· CSCS Card

· HNC/HND or Equivalent

· On site experience as an Engineer including setting out and QA responsibilities

· Prior use of Microsoft Office Packages

· Use of AutoCAD
