Introduction
Safran Engineering Services have a new requirement for Quality engineer focussing on FAIRs
The FAIR Engineer shall work with the Quality Engineering team to produce / capture and submit First Article inspection records in accordance with AS 9102 - latest issue . Fair engineers shall be capable of the entire process - including customer contact and approval of both delta Fairs and full Fairs
The role will based onsite at Pitstone, Hertfordshire with options for hybrid working.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience of working within a quality engineer role within a manufacturing environment
- Internal Auditing Experience
- Ability to work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Manual inspection experience
- Supplier development and supplier quality experience
- Knowledge of 8D and other problem solving experience
- Be an expert in lean manufacturing techniques
- Motivated and excellent team player
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, tools, and methodologies
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
