Head of Respiratory

Job Purpose

The Head of Respiratory research is a senior leadership position responsible for developing, overseeing and driving the strategic direction of the respiratory portfolio and leading a cross-functional team to achieve business objectives within the Respiratory and Immunology Therapeutic Area (RI TA). This role requires a deep understanding of the current respiratory therapeutic area including unmet need and commercial opportunity, market dynamics and potential future areas of GSK leadership. The role will require a deep understanding of mechanisms driving unmet need in priority respiratory diseases such as COPD, IPF and ILD including emerging insights into epithelial barrier dysfunction, eosinophil biology and mechanisms of fibrosis.
