About the role as Planning Manager at Aira

The Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing effective capacity allocation to meet customer demand. Through close collaboration with your Team Leaders, you will ensure delivery of efficient planning, execution, and completion within the constraints of time and budget. The planning manager will oversee, manage, and coordinate customer service operations in Scotland. The Planning Manager may be required to assume all roles within their line of responsibility, as necessitated by resource availability, customer demand, or the requirements of the business.

You'll be working 5 days a week from our regional office in Stirling, leading a team of Customer Service Agents, and Planning Agents.

What you will be doing as Planning Manager at Aira

As a crucial part of a brand new team in Scotland, your role will be exciting and varied, but will include the following:

  • Implementing and enforcing safe working practices within your team.
  • Communicating effectively, and leading by example.
  • Monitoring performance, identifying areas for improvement, and taking responsibility for implementing corrective actions.
  • Supporting and empowering your team to independently manage planning and customer service operations.
  • Defining working practices which champion both customer satisfaction, and AIRA working principles.
  • Managing and coaching your team in the AIRA Operating Model
  • You'll be responsible for the hiring, development, performance management, and day-to-day management and administration of your team.
  • Preparing and analysing reports, providing regular updates to the Head of Region for Scotland.
