Job description
A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly regarded Fresh Produce Supplier to the major retailers, catering and wholesale sectors. We currently offer an excellent opportunity to join the business at an exciting time of growth, to be based at their facility in Essex / North London.
The position of Technical and Compliance Coordinatorwill become a key member of the technical team, taking responsibility for and managing an established supply base across the UK and abroad. It is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of growers and suppliers across an impressive portfolio of Fresh Produce product categories.
Key responsibilities include;
Raw materials due diligence
Performance reviews / analysis
Monitor and coordinate site compliance
Coordinate growers’ accreditations and reviews
Update & Maintain Quality Management System to make sure the company are audit ready
Effective communication to resolve product quality/supply issues
We require;
Experience in supplier / compliance management, ideally within a FMCG / Food Manufacturing / Fresh Produce environment
Knowledge of pesticides and pesticide risk assessment, to accompany understanding of HACCP, BRC, Global GAP proving advantageous
Familiar with UK retailers codes of practices and relevant portals.
Experience of Red Tractor, BRCGS, Global Gap. Leaf
Confident and clear communication ability, written and spoken, is imperative, with languages proving highly beneficial but not essential
Hours; Monday – Friday; 8.00am – 5.00pm
