PAY : £35,050 - £38,845 PER ANNUM
HOURS : WORKING FULL-TIME, MONDAY – FRIDAY 8.30AM – 4.30PM
About the role St Elizabeth’s is a dynamic further education college, graded a Good College by Ofsted, that provides unique learning and work opportunities for individuals aged 19 – 25 who have special educational and complex needs. We have an ambitious growth and development strategy, which makes it an exciting time to join us as we look to grow our offer and increase our admissions for 2024 and beyond.
We offer day and residential placements to our learners, and as a College Lecturer you will prepare, plan and deliver imaginative and effective sessions as well as being responsible for the assessment, recording and reporting on our learners’ progress. You will deliver high quality teaching following best practice models whilst assessing the emotional, pastoral and spiritual needs of the learners preparing them for adulthood.
About you We are looking for someone with; - Previous experience and a passion for working with young adults with SEN
- Creative approach and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan effective lessons and skilfully differentiate based on individual needs
- Knowledge of vocational and work related learning programmes
- Strong academic record with a relevant teaching qualification and knowledge of the Ofsted framework
