Job description

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join our Ford dealership in Coventry. Reporting to the Service Manager this position is offered on a full time 40 hour working contract paying £28,000 basic with an OTE of £42,000, Monday – Friday, with Saturday hours paid as overtime.

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for the position you will need to possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) as a minimum. We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes & skills:

A full UK driving licence
Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles
MOT Tester qualification would be very advantageous
Fantastic verbal and written English skills
Previous experience working in a franchised dealership (preferred but not essential)

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Provide technical and diagnostic service ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met and exceeded
Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and ensure compliance with manufacturer training
Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards
Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes
