Job description
Cargilfield is a leading independent IAPS preparatory school in Edinburgh for boys and girls aged 3 to 13.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Science Teacher to become Head of Science for the start of the Autumn Term 2024.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and outstanding teacher, who is capable of teaching children to Common Entrance and the most demanding scholarship exams. He/she will be prepared to participate fully in the busy life of the school, provide outstanding pastoral care and contribute to the ongoing development of the science department. The School would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates with enthusiasm for participating in outdoor adventure alongside their core role leading the science department.

Closing date for applications is noon on Friday 15th March 2024.
Interviews will take place during week commencing 18th March 2024, during which candidates will be asked to teach a lesson.
