Job Summary: Amazing nanny role being offered on a 6-month basis to begin with. The family is keen to have a really good relationship with a candidate moving forward, and there is the potential to extend the contract as they would like to have more children in the future. There is also the possibility that the hours may increase in the future. For now, help is primarily needed in the morning to relieve Mum for a couple of hours if she wants to pop to the gym, or do bits around the house! You must have vast proven experience having worked with children of similar age, and be in a position to help with weaning and aid the little one with milestones and overall development. The family hires a cleaner, so the duties are nanny-focused only however it would be great if household tasks could also be carried out.

General duties:

• Standard nanny duties
• Washing & sterilizing bottles
• Feeding & Playing with baby
• Developmental activities such as reading
• Baby Laundry
• General care for baby
• Diaper changes, changing clothes, etc
• Tidy baby things and areas, such as putting away toys, clothes, etc.
• Help clean up messes if any
• Help around the house when baby is sleeping E.g. tidy things around the house
• Family laundry, dishes / cleaning up kitchen occasionally

Candidate requirements:

• Ability to take feedback and communicate well with parents
• Someone who is respectful of parents’ approach, discreet and professional
• Friendly, warm and honest
• Hygienic and proactive
• Always active and looking to be helpful, and able to use own initiative
• Another language would be super appreciated – ideally French, Korean, German, or Japanese
• A DBS check is required at the offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
