As a Commercial Assistant, you will have the following accountabilities:
Support with compilation of plant and labour costs for package leads.
Take minutes for cost and performance meeting.
Support Wider team with tracking costs for Plant and Labour onsite.
Input sub-contract application liabilities to Oracle R12 (Previous experience of Oracle would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided).
Production of payment certificate.
Updating order value particulars (Previous experience of Confirm would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided).
Monthly sub-contractor application/payment control sheet.
The following qualities/experience are essential:
Confident IT / Systems user - Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
Pro-active and highly motivated to meet team objectives
Self-motivated to achieve a high level of performance
Good business acumen
Experience in the efficient and effective management of software skills
Good interpersonal skills and communication
Excellent organisational skills
Previous experience working in the Highways / Construction Industry would be advantageous / desirable
