• Start date: 3rd March 2024

The company:

A privately owned multi-disciplinary main contractor that specialism in student accommodation, hotels, leisure, retail, distribution, highways and bridges.

The role:

Site Manager working as part of large project team and responsible for managing Section 278 roadworks section of a new build development. You will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Management of the works package and incumbent subcontrators.
• Checking RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are adhered to.
• Inductions and tool box talks.
• Issuing permits to work.
• Maintain orders for subcontractors.
• Maintaining drawings registers.
• ensuring Traffic Management plans are checked and current.

About you

To be successful in this position you will need:

• Extensive experience in delivering Section 278 works packages
• Current SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
• NRSWA qualification is highly desirable
• Ability to motivate teams and drive activity to ensure the project is delivered to programme.
