Job description
What you will do in your working day
As a Degree Apprentice at ASMPT, you will gain a good appreciation of the Company as a whole, and the operation of its main departments by undertaking a comprehensive range of work placements and project work.
Typically you will be involved in:
- Team/project meetings, contributing towards design and development decisions
- Contributing to design reviews, critically reviewing yours and colleagues' designs to ensure fit for purpose
- Supporting peers, imparting your knowledge to others in the business
The training you will be getting - Day release to the University of the West of England, leading to Manufacturing Engineer (degree) level 6
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship - Once qualified there is potential for you to continue your career at ASMPT

Qualifications A Level or equivalent Maths (Grade C) Essential
A Level or equivalent Physics (Grade C) Essential
