Summary:
- Job Title: Panel Technician
- Location: Huddersfield
- Salary: Salary of £30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + £2,000 Joining Fee + Bonus + Overtime
- Full Time and Permanent – 40 hours a week – Monday to Friday
Our client is an independent car dealer group that operates a network of 61 car dealership sites in the UK and the Channel Islands. They are one of the Top 25 Sunday Times best big companies to work for.
They are looking for a Panel Beater / Technician to join them at their dealership in Birmingham where you will be responsible for carrying out panel repair work on all makes of motor vehicles in a safe and economical manner, achieving the highest possible standards of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the highest possible levels of body repair and restoration to all our client’s customers' vehicles.
- Work within the relevant protocols, as dictated by legislation, the company, E-scribe, Manufacturers, or ATA Senior Technicians, always.
- Maintain comprehensive records, in an appropriate and timely fashion.
- Demonstrates considerable skill and recognition as a vehicle body repair technician.
- Understands the needs of both customers and the company and demonstrates this in their work.
- Takes ownership in all aspects of their role, working without close supervision and demonstrating effective self-management.
Requirements:
- ATA accredited, plus fully qualified – City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent.
- Demonstrable ability to manage processes, administration, and paperwork.
- Demonstrable understanding of the need to balance customer satisfaction and quality with safety and the financial demands of the business.
- Full driving license held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points.
- Evidence of ‘Right to work in the UK’.
