Our client, an established and expanding business, are looking for a confident and dynamic Sales Executive to join their friendly and hardworking team in Polegate!
As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for selling products to new and existing customers, utilising leads, and providing / selling services both face–to–face and over the phone.
You will be a Sales oriented and confident individual, with a natural flair for numbers, quick–thinking and working closely with both customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities as a Sales Executive
- To follow and maintain the company sales procedure
- To maintain the highest level of service towards clients and a quick response time to all incoming enquiries
- To achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets
- To share best practice & offer ideas for continuous improvement
- To maintain a high level of quality scores
- To develop relevant knowledge and skills and attend training as required
- To ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures such as the FCA by keeping up to date with all changes in the regulatory framework
- To represent the business in a professional manner at all times
- Additional duties or tasks may be delegated to assist the department meet their objectives
Who You Are
- Ideally, you will have a Sales background and be comfortable within a Sales setting
- Good working knowledge of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally CDL system, Internet and email (desirable)
- A good understanding of numbers and planning
- The ability to be flexible, decisive and quick–thinking
- The ability to follow processes and procedures and to be comfortable with referring to managers where necessary
- To be able to deal with customers in a patient, calm and effective way and be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability
- CDL/Insurance Broker experience is preferred but not essential as we offer full training and support

Job Title: Sales Executive
Location: Polegate
Salary: 24,000 per annum + uncapped commission
Full: Monday – Friday, 8:00am / 9:00am – 5:00pm (very occasionally you may need to work a Saturday)
