Job description
Our client is looking for a remarkable Senior Systems Designer to be responsible for the output and development of the meta-game, economy and systems for one of our upcoming projects. This full-time systems design remote role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.
To give you an idea of how this Senior Systems Designer role will look and feel, these are some things you can expect to do:
- Work closely with the Lead Designer and Creative Director to distil the game vision into core game and system design principles
- Lead the vision and pillars of the game by designing and developing core meta systems
- Ensure all systems are cohesive, and feel in place and improve the game
- Write and maintain detailed design documentation for the engineering team to build your systems
- Pitch and present new systems for the game
To apply for this Senior Systems Designer role, you will need 3-5 years of industry experience in a comparable role. You will also require:
- Experience with Economy Design, XP/Progression design, Trade/crafting systems, Weapon and Item balancing and Reward systems
- Practical experience in Unity
- A proven ability to break down system design goals into individual components
