- Supporting the mid life update and FTI installations on Legacy Aircraft

- Tornado
- Electrical wiring diagrams using capitol Logic
- Electrical installations using Catia V5. NX
- Develop their understanding of systems routing, separation and segregation requirements
- Understand installation and maintainability techniques.
- Harness design and Manufacture techniques.
- Interfacing with specialists, manufacturing and external suppliers, thus comprehending, analysing problems in order to arrive at the best solution
- Assist in ensuring that the electrical design is delivered in line with programme requirements
- Releasing model based definition of Electrical installations to aerospace standards allowing manufacturers to produce the parts efficiently. DFM.
- Assist in defining the most effective way to meet the Means of Compliance standards required in terms of Time, Cost and Quality.
- Generating alternate designs when required.
- Develop Aircraft installation Engineers, covering the full spectrum of
- Electrical wiring diagrams using capitol Logic
- Electrical installations using Catia V5. NX
- Develop their understanding of systems routing, separation and segregation requirements, Harness design
- Develop them on other systems, FTI, Fuel, ECS, Etc.
- There will be opportunities to develop them more into Systems engineers, which covers Flight Systems, mission systems, General systems, etc
- We will be getting more work from BAE and developing our resource supporting new vehicles and new technologies.
- We will be moving into the digital world, covering the digital twin, which is a full representation of an intelligent working model
- Joining a team of Electrical designers working to develop the next generation fighter Aircraft, supporting a world leading aerospace company.
- Degree in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Good fundamental knowledge of Aircraft Structure and Installations.
- Hands on experience of developing Electrical harnesses and installations to a given standard.
- Detailed understanding of Electrical design.
- Experience and proficiency using CATIA V5, Electrical Work bench (EWB),
- Experience using Siemens NX package is beneficial
- PLM Teamcentre
- Experience of certifying to aerospace standards.
- Experience in communicating with management, as well as technical and business teams to collect requirements, describe product features and technical designs.
