At Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS FT we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our outstanding CQC rated Trust as a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist.
We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist to join our dynamic, innovative and supportive team within the Amber Valley Rapid Response team.
Derbyshire is home to the Peak District National Park and Derwent Valley World Heritage site and is in commuting distance of towns and cities in neighbouring counties, including Manchester, Nottingham and Sheffield.
Our therapy and nursing services are working collaboratively with social care across Derbyshire to deliver an integrated service that provides accessible and responsive care to meet the needs of patients, GPs and the wider system.
Working Pattern: our service runs Mon-Sunday 08:00- 18:30 with flexibility to work longer or shorter days within this times. The job available is 37.5 hours but part time hours will be considered.
The post holder will need to have access to transport and be able to work in the community throughout Amber Valley and across boundaries into Erewash if needed.
As a Senior Physiotherapist within our service you will:
Assess, diagnose, advise and treat patients with a variety of conditions.
Be responsible for the management of patients on your caseload.
Maintain professional autonomy, being responsible for the management of your own patients whilst working within Trust and National guidelines.
You will be a key member of the rapid response team responsible for delivering a high quality service.
You will have relevant experience and demonstrate transferrable skills at interview.
All posts require people to be flexible and move across sites according to the department needs, therefore access to transport is essential.

We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people’s own homes and via virtual consultations.
During the pandemic response we have led the implementation of public vaccination centres in collaboration with partners across health and social care.
