Morgan Hunt are working with a local Training Provider in South East London who are looking to recruit a Curriculum Leader within Foundation Learning. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months however the contract will renew depending on the performance of the individual in post. The salary for this role is paying between £30,000-£35,000. The role will be based at their head office near Vauxhall (4 days per week) and will require travel to their other site near Greenwich for 1 day per week. The core function of this role is to manage the delivery of the Foundation Learning curriculum therefore knowledge in this are would be desirable however the client is willing to consider someone from an Employability/Functional Skills or ESOL background with management experience. This role will require 12-15 hours teaching per week.

The Curriculum Leader - Foundation Learning will be responsible for:

• Providing leadership and management of Tutors
  
• Teaching the Foundation Learning curriculum for up to 15 hours per week
  
• Planning and developing the curriculum to meet the business needs
  
• Coaching and mentoring staff
  
• Quality assurance processes including SAR and QIP
  The Curriculum Leader - Foundation Learning will need to have:
  
• A minimum of a Level 5 teaching qualification
  
• Experience in managing either Foundation Learning/Functional Skills/ESOL curriculum
  
• Knowledge of qualifications and assessment within the FE sector
  
• Been qualified to a minimum of GCSE Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent
  
• Flexibility to travel across various sites
